A while back I recieved a twitter message about using the 2008 CF-BBQ video in an article in the PANow online newspaper. It mentioned that a historic air show was in the making and was inspired by the CF-BBQ video.
This was a Centennial celebration, here is a photo from 1912 where the first aircraft took flight in P.A. a 100 years ago. photo credit: P.A. Herald Newpaper
It was also the return of 1937 CF-BBQ Waco biplane to its former home of Glass Field. Owner/Operator Carl Buck, from just outside of Denver, Colorado, and 4 of his friends made the trip.
Beautiful aircraft, I made sure to get a picture with Carl, Debbie (Jack Greening's daughter), & Tim (Jack's grandson). photo credit: Juanita Tuntland
Edited on Adobe Premiere CS5.5 on Windows 7, I had a few projects in between which gave me a chance to come back to it with what I like to call "fresh eyes" which is always nice.
Carl Buck (below), also an aerospace engineer at NASA who's resume includes work on the Mars Land Rover.
My timeline. I did the colour correction right in Premiere. Used 2 songs.
