January was a busy month for me as far as Bamboo Shoots freelance gigs, working on two live music concerts and a AAA Midget hockey game for SaskTel Max Local On Demand Channel 48. Its always fun working with these guys.
The first music concert featured John Wort Hannam at the Majestic Theatre in Biggar, Sk on Jan 12th. I switched and directed this one, it was a really nice venue to film in.
The next day on Jan 13th, I headed to North Battleford to operate scorebug (score and clock graphic).
We had a lot of fun, my brother Nealz, also worked as a Production Assistant.
Turned out my cousin's son plays for the Battleford Stars. So it was nice seeing some family there unexpectingly. photo credit: Neal Garand

I only directed this one as my field producer Saxon did the switching. It was a great show and again, a really nice venue to film in. My control room was in the film projector room.
